I purchased a 2007 Buick Lucerne at Mario D’Addario, and have driven over 85,000 problem free miles. For a number of reasons I have always had the car serviced at the dealership, but I have just determined the best reason yet for having my car serviced there.
Yesterday, I brought the car in for a regular oil change, and to add a little nitrogen to the front tire (nitrogen is the best way to add to your gas mileage). While having a cup of coffee in the customer service area, Jerry, my customer service agent came to me and said “Bill, we determined that your front wheel bearing needs replacement. It is covered under your 100,000 mile GM drive-train warrantee, so there is no charge for the repair. But since it is late in the afternoon, we can’t fix it until tomorrow morning. Would you like a ride home, or can we give you a loaner car?”
Had I brought the car to a drive-up oil change store, they never would have known about the problem. If I had the oil change at my local gas station, they might have found the needed repair, but I would have had to pay for the new bearing. To my way of thinking, D’addario saved me from what could have been a catastrophic loss, had the bearing completely failed while at high speed. Furthermore, they saved me from paying a repair station for a warranted item.
I’d like to thank Jerry and the entire staff of Mario D’Addario. I would think I’ll be buying my 7th car from their dealership soon. And I’ll be sure to have it serviced there too. Bill Wagner Trumbull, CT 06611

Dear Mr. D'Addario,

My name is Jo-Lynn Fredericks. I have been a customer of yours for 3 years now. I just went into my second leased vehicle with your dealership on 10/1/09.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge one of your employees. His name is Gaetano Sanzo. Gaetano started calling me in June. He gave me many options as what to do when my lease was up. He kept telling me to come in and take a test drive. "Let's go over the options" I, of course at this point did not know what I was going to do. With my busy work and personal life, I was not ready to make a decision at that point. He kept in touch with me until the end.

I went in to your dealership on September 19th, took a test drive in the Rogue and I loved it. You didn't have the color I wanted and Gaetano went out of his way to get me the Silver 2010 Rogue I desired. Less than 2 weeks later, My vehicle was ready for pickup. Dropping off the old Nissan and picking up the new was quite simple as expected.

I am an Assistant Branch Manager at Fairfield County Bank. I know what it means to do your best to make your customers happy. It is not easy all the time. But you find a way to do it. I could not have been more pleased with the way Gaetano reached out to me and helped me. He always had my best interests at heart. He was always kind and professional over the phone and in person as well. These days, this is not very common.

It is truly a pleasure doing business with your company and Gaetano. I look forward to continuing my relationship with D'Addario Nissan in the future.

"D'addario comes through again."

Dear Dan,

I wanted to thank you for suggesting I put your nitrogen replacement in my tires. When you first mentioned the concept of putting nitrogen in my tires, I was pretty skeptical. However, you stated I would get improved gas mileage, and would probably notice a better ride too.

I did notice a better ride after I had the tires re-inflated, but my greatest  surprise came when I started filling my gas tank! With over 100,000 miles on my car, I always knew that I would get 300 miles to a tank full. But I soon realized that after putting in the nitrogen, I was easily getting 340 miles to a tank full. The effect of the nitrogen was to give me well over 10% better fuel mileage.

I figure that the nitrogen will more than pay for itself in just 5 fill-ups at the gas pump. When you consider the increased gas mileage, and the better ride, I feel that the nitrogen replacement is a bargain. Now, I am planning on having the air replaced with nitrogen in my other 2 cars as well.

Thanks for the advice. Once again, D'addario has come thru.

I recently had occasion to bring my car in for a rust problem I have on my 2000 Buick Century. My faith in mankind was restored by the professionalism and courtesy extended to me by your Ken Leeney.

Ken took the time to explain to me what choices I had in correcting my problem and assured me that no work would be done until he inspected the car and that he would call me with the inspection results. I left the car and Ken made sure I was driven home. True to his word, he called me the next day, told me what his people had found and again explained what could be done should I choose to have the problem remedied.

I have become a skeptic when it comes to trust and truthfulness. However, I found both in my dealings with Ken and I was very impressed with his knowledge of the problem I presented.

I know, in the future, should I have any problems with my Buick, I will not hesitate to take it  back to D'Addario.
